Le Lièvre de Mars is a publishing house whose mission is to re-edit out of print picture books or picture book texts from the classics of children’s literature. The idea behind the collection is to give new life to excellent, essential or little known works. The collection’s goal is to conserve, re-edit and republish children’s books that distinguish themselves by their literary and visual excellence from around the globe. In other words, it is a conservation of content project which will select and publish out of print or forgotten children’s books.
